Letter of Intent

Result: 96 Arizona communities from all regions of the state submitted proposals in the preliminary phase of the Five Communities Project

Feasibility Assessment
Deadline: 11:59 PM, August 8

 

Result: 33 Finalists were selected to take their ideas to the next level of planning needed for a final proposal worthy of national funding. Approximately 10 finalists will be selected from among the 33 Semi-finalilsts to complete final proposals.

Final Proposal
Deadline: October 2011

 

Result: 5 communities were selected from among the Finalists to work with the Center to develop a collaborative proposal that will be submitted to one or more national foundations. The objective is to provide our partner communities with the resources to implement their plans over a three-year funding period.

  1. Five Communities National Proposal

Deadline: Late 2011 - Early 2012

 

The Center is currently talking with foundations at the national level about their current funding priorities and opportunities for state-based projects that align closely with them. As more information becomes available to guide communities in targeting their proposals, it will be made available by the Center through its various support services as well as electronically on www.TheArizonaWeWant.org.
